How was Enceladus formed?

Ive tried looking it up but I couldnt find anything.

  1. Enceladus is one of only three outer solar system bodies (along with Jupiter's moon Io and Neptune's moon Triton) where active eruptions have been observed. Analysis of the outgassing suggests that it originates from a body of sub-surface liquid water, which along with the unique chemistry found in the plume


  2. I think that enceladus was formed in the kuiper belt. Where most icy bodies reside in orbit around the sun.  It's orbit  was perturbed by another planet, and started migrating to the inner solar system. As it was doing so saturn captured it, and became a satellite of saturn. That is what I think, just my theory.
