How was I so lucky to miss death?

I had a blood clot in my lung 7 yrs ago. I had suffered from extreme pain. For two days before it was diagnosed. It was huge.

My question is, how did I get so lucky and not die? When others unfortunately do.

I believe things happen for a reason, if you're lucky to be alive when others aren't, I suggest making the most out of it.

My sister was like that. She had two, one in her stomach and one in her leg. They'd been building up for years too.

I guess it just comes down to good medical care and sheer luck.

I'M A TRUE BELIEVER IN "WHEN IT'S YOUR TIME,IT'S YOUR TIME". I'VE SEEN A MAN COME INTO THE ER ON TWO STRETCHERS, TOTALLY CUT IN HALF BY A TRAIN, LIVE, AND A WOMAN GET AN INFECTION IN HER EPESIOTOMY SITE, DIE. GO FIGURE? IT JUST WASNT YOUR TIME.
