  1. they had birth control pills in the book which did not exist when the book was written but does exist now! and test tube babies!

  3. it portrayed a different type of setting and characters that were not generally thought of. The book was ridculous though it was truly a utopian society but every says its not, which doesnt make sense since you could have anything you want, and if you did become or radical you would get a free trip to any island of your choice, here i come New Zealand  

  4. Because they talk about cloning and movies where you can feel things in the movie and making a "perfect" society.

  5. At the time of its writing the book was considered a socialist program and although classified as science fiction many of its concepts are now reality. Utopia becomes possible because Huxley dared to imagine the forbidden thoughts in his book. Today it all seems history and yet to come will be more futuristic ideas to wonder about.
