the entire world was in a depression before Hitler took control of Germany. In fact, the whole reason why and how he got into power was because people where despreate for jobs and money. Technically, the war in which Hitler became so infamous save the economy due to the sudden demand for war time products and a sudden decrease in the working population (more than 15 million men joined armed forces).
