How was your Spring weather where you are......and where is that?

Question

here in the US in Tennessee the weather has been very dry. Last year we had the driest weather and hottest weather I can remember. Funny is that the UK had one of the wettest seasons they have had.

This year how was your Spring compared to last?

I am not sure about the Spring where I am at, but it seems that it was shortlived.

what is causing this strange weather you think?

why and how so?

Here in 'Bonnie' Scotland we had a wonderful spring, much better than last year. Sun real sunny days and the daffodils, tulips, crocuses etc were absolutely beautiful and it was lovely watching the tiny lambs with their mother's in the fields. Alas now July and weather here awfuly, dull and rainy and this evening where I am we had a real bad thunder and lightening storm. I also have a home in Mallorca. Winter this year was beautiful but from April until the past 10 days the weather had been unknown for this time of year, rain, rain and more rain. Worse rainfall since 1942. Thankfully it's not very hot and sunny as it should be July.

Here in Texas I'm in drought conditions no rain here. I live just out of Houston. There is rain all around me and none here. That is typical for here. There was 3" just to the northeast of me less than 25 miles the other day and I got the typical 6" of rain I have been getting. 6 drops 6" apart. We had a nice spring but it went from spring to summer in about a week. Daytime highs where in the middle to upper 70's and the next day 90's. My garden is about done time to till it under and get ready for fall just need to dig potatoes.
