How was your first day of high school?

Question

preferably people who are in high school right now answer please, but I'm open to any stories of experience.

The first day was ok. I couldn't find my first class and that's because, It was in the middle of no where. Most of my friends from middle school go to my high school, so that was no big deal. Lunch is an hour long at my school, so, I got to eat with all my friends. I did have a schedule change the first day that ruined my schedule for the remaining years. Don't listen to Lifetime and all those movies that make high school seem like this evil place where the kids are so cruel and don't care about any ones feelings.

Well, I was nervous of course especially since I didn't have a chance to see any of my friends before class and I also didn't get my class schedule 'till that morning.  But my teachers were all nice and I did have friends in my classes.  I didn't get lost or anything.  I was also relieved to see that high school was nothing like what you see in movies (none of the seniors were overly mean or trashcanning people).  I got used to being there in a couple days and I love going to school minus the homework.  High school is fun- don't be too nervous and arrange a meeting place with your friends for the first day.

my first day of high school was awsome. i had alot of my friends in the same class as mine.all four years my friends and me were in the same classes. its how i got my gf and me together by having each other in the same class.
