  1. A new experience is always scary!  However, hook up with new friends (they're scared too) and join a college club in order to meet older students who can guide you through the "tough times" of the first few weeks.

Don't quit - that's not for you!  Beside, you're brave that that!  Best of luck to you - college is neat once you get over the initial "jitters!"

  2. Don't Drop Out!!! It's hard to adjust, I know, I've thought about dropping out and transferring, but then I made amazing new friends and I got to know my professors and people around campus and now its my home away from home, but it took me until Spring Semester to get comfy, so give it time... at least until the end of the semester to decide.

  3. Hey!!

Don't worry. The first time in a new environment can always be disorienting. Don't give up... and keep in touch with your friends and join clubs/activities as a means of connecting with other people and as a form of relaxation.

Keep on persevering and Good luck to You!!!

  4. New experiences such as college are always scary, but give it a chance... you won't regret it.

  5. I think how you are feeling is common. The first week of every semester for the past three years has been overwhelming for me.  Some classes I really didn't want to go back. I have taken at least 30 classes, and after the first couple of weeks I adjusted so you probably will too. Don't quit. College takes a lot  of hard work, but its worth it. Just go over your notes every day and don't put off assignments until the last minute.
