  1. A fair & caring will can make cost reduction so easy

  2. Im currently living abroad in Spain (from Canada) through a program called ASSE. Overall, Ive had a great time and have very few complaints. Im not sure I would reccomend this particular program to other people though. First of all, all of the students were told we would have a 1-2 week camp to start off the exchange year. That never happened. From september until april, I heard from the organization a total of 3 times. They are basicaly not involved whatsoever in the year. I had the impression that they checked up more often, tried to organize trips, etc.

Thankfuly I never had any problems. Im not sure if ASSE has any programs for people older than 18.5 so that might restrict what you can do. I would check out AFS if I were you as they have student exchanges, as well as volunteer programs for older people.
