  1. Give a read to "Kundalini West," Ann Ree Colton.

http://www.easwaran.org has a simple, positive method.

p.s.  "Control" is less to the point than spiritualization:  placing a bright golden white light around self, focus/contemplate a spiritual symbol or thought or feeling, and simply ignore negative thoughts.  To "push them away" is a polarization, and tends by a law of opposite energy to pull them back.  I.e., "Try not to think of a pink elephant" is not true "control."  Rather, continue to think about what is good, pure, true, beautiful.

    http://www.dreamviews.com and

http://www.lucidity.com are also good, in that developing lucidity helps raise awareness.

  2. Is this your homework?

  3. One must live very free, flowing with the natural streams of life being sure not to get confused or caught up in the differences of the same reality.  Right and wrong, good and bad, do not exist.  There are more pleasureable and habitual processes which can skew one's thought. Remember to act and not to react for your sense of control.

  4. 1. Stop thinking you're God

    2. Don't have any negative influences

    3. Whenever one starts to come, rebuke it and think of something good/ the good side.

  5. by experiencing unconditional acceptance :)

  6. You can be the master of your mind by not getting others to do your homework for you.

  7. You question is simple but the answer is too big as a scope.  I tried to simplify it in 8 points for you to benefit from:

    1. Understand that the reality of life is full of suffering, it is in acceptance we be become conscious, open minded in realization that sickness, old age and death like suffering are natural just like all living things take in air to live.

    2. Being mindful in causing suffering in the things we say, think and do, because it  affect not just ourselves but others too.  There is causal effect commonly called Karma, and there is also Collective Karma.

    3. Know and believe that  all sentient beings, (born, unborn, past , present and future, in the ten directions, unseen and seen, biggest to the smallest, terrestrial, extraterrestrial, celestial, in the multitude of heavens to the depths of h**l, in the multidimensional universe to the tiniest spec) all must be respected and they have much right like ourselves.

    4. Learn and test all things.  Scrutinize and prove or disprove what is truth or false.  It is learning we know it is in knowing we become wise.

    5. Know that crowning glory of your existence is not just to amass wealth and knowledge at the earliest age, but also to have the wisdom and compassion to share and better the lives of those lesser than you.

6.Take time to better your existence, conscious and open mindedly know that the drive of sentient's existence is not merely to exist in this universe but also to excel and evolve into a higher state of consciousness, perfect and untainted.

    6. Be Humble and rejoice in simplicity.  Content and knowing that after it all, where life is not absolute, one can be empty yet full.  Where everything seem real are but illusions addictive yet unreal.

    7. Know that we are all in this existence to learn form this University.  There are all sorts of knowledge and deceit exist.  But in a being full minded and conscious, truth is like a beacon at  turbulent sea calling us all to school and home called the Universe.

    8. It is not the distance that a traveler travels, but the journey he have taken to reach his destination.  Don't just  follow a path simply because it has less resistance, but make it your own and have the perseverance to learn from those of the same path as you.  Only if one listen with a silent calm open mind, can one hear the voice of the Universe.  Once you have heard it,  you will be amaze how insignificant man is, yet very important to everything in this endless vast cosmic web cycle as a whole.

Meditation would help you a lot if you could learn from a real practitioner.  You can do it on your own with books, but it is more difficult to master. Listening to music is a form of meditation because calm music calms the mind, rock music rocks the mind too.  Hope I have helped.
