  1. Yes. for example, i will explain you for calculator shortcut -

    same concept for all other things,

    Do like : Start menu - Accessories -calculator

    right click the calculator icon -->Click properties-->shortcut key

    where you can type F6 --> ok-->close

    now press shortcut F6, you get calculator infront of you.

  2. You can do so by simply right clicking the icon and in the Send To menu, select Send To .. Desktop (create shortcut).

    This will make an icon appear on your desktop. You can then place that icon anywhere you like, for example you can drag it into your start menu's Recently Used Application list

  3. yeah.. just right click on the icon and click and in the displayed options choose "send to" u can desktop , which creates a short cut for any icon tht u choose.. i can say this an easy way

    otherwise..

    2. Right click in the place where u want this shortcut to get displayed.. and choose "New" .

    3. From the displayed choices ..choose "shortcut"

    4.THe system will prompt u to "type the location of the item" in which u will paste the "location" that u copied (refer point 1) followed by a slash and the name of the item .(as the "location" will not contain the name of the file name)
