  1. I found some info on this at Wikipedia:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat_senses

    Hope this helps!

  2. cats have a  better hearing copared to humans am im wriht

  3. Animals generally have good power of smell and power of hearing. Dog particularly is famous for its smelling power. That is why police force keep dog to trace the culprits with the help of dog's smelling power.

In my house I have seen the mother cat rushing back when there is a sound from its kitten.

  4. Their sense of smell is said to be 14 times stronger than ours, and they can detect odours that we can't.

Their hearing abilities are amazing.  They can hear much higher-pitched sounds, up to 64 kHz, which is 1.6 octaves above the range of a human, and even 1 octave above the range of a dog.   They're also able to detect the precise direction of a sound. They can distinguish between two sounds that are only 18 inches apart at a distance of 60 feet. They can also easily tell the difference between two sounds from the same direction but a different distances.

  5. The eyesight and hearing of cats is much more acute than that of humans.

They can see well in very low light levels and not only detect very quiet sounds, but locate their origin very precisely. One weekend morning many years ago, one of our kittens jumped on the bed while we were still under the duvet. I was amazed at how he was able to pounce on my finger if I rubbed it very lightly on the underside of the quilt. I could not hear the sound I was making and the duvet was not moving at all, but he knew precisely where my finger was and when it started moving.

I have seen it suggested that the eyesight of cats does have a couple of quirks when it comes to motion. Supposedly, they are much more sensitive to movement over a wider field of view than us, but they also  supposedly have problems "seeing" things that are not in motion, so an immobile object is apparently, to some extent, "invisible" to a cat.

Their sense of smell is, however, not that fantastic.

Dogs perceive the world mainly in terms of scents, but cats are more like us humans in that they are very much visual and auditory creatures.
