  1. Be safe and dont take the risk. Keep them in their own seperate enclosures

  2. I'm speaking from experience.  I have personally removed the head of one ball from the mouth of another - they WILL eat each other.

Snakes are solitary creatures meeting in the wild ONLY to eat each other, or to mate (except in the case of some garter snakes which den together in winter for purposes of mating as they emerge in the spring, and some of those DO get eaten!).   You can't breed instinct out of domestic snakes.

When a snake feels crowded or stressed, it has little recourse to resolve the dilemma other than to eat the source of the distress!  You'd be surprised how often this actually occurs.

    It's a bad idea, and I don't recommend it.

But, if you are going to do it - you'll need to increase the size of the tank the present snake is in by a good bit, and move both reptiles to the new tank.  Make sure you keep them well fed (feed them seperately, in other small tanks), and monitor them closely.  You'll need two separate hides and two heat sources, for digestion after feeding, etc.

Google your snakes thoroughly before you make the decision.

Since purchasing another and larger tank is in this scenario, and a separate heat/hide, etc. - I'd just suggest getting a 2nd tank for the new snake, and not subjecting the new or existing snake to the chance of becoming a meal!

I hope this has been helpful.

  3. They should def get along. pythons don't relate to canibilism unless they are like starving and i'm not talking about a month or 2 im talking about like 4 or 5 without eating but like i said they should be real cool with each other its what i do with my snakes and i have 2 ball pythons and 1 carpet. Just feed them seperate and on a feeding schedule and you'll have no worries

  4. techincally you arent suppose to...

however, i have 3 housed together, but the tank is very big. the smallest is always hiding though...

  5. they get along good i have 2 ball pythong m/f just feed them seprate and u good
