How well do red light cameras catch vehicles?

how often do red light cameras catch someone who runs a red light and what happens when they do catch you?

I don't think they're very good. I've never been caught, although I don't go through red lights often (never on purpose..). From what I understand, they take a picture of your license plate, and they send a ticket to your address. If you are driving someone else's car, they get the ticket, and thus have to pay it or risk jail time. Luckily, my cars are both registered in my husband's name, lol.

they will get you cause you cant outrun the speed of light lol. if they catch you then they send the ticket to you in the mail
