How well do the Swivel Sweepers that you see advertised on tv work?

I need something easy and lightweight to carry that can pick up lint from dark brown carpet. Will these work well for that?

You mean Swiffer.  They work about as well as a dust buster- which is to say not very well.  Good for quick pickups but it will never replace your standard vacuum.  It just doesn't have the power to get deep down into the carpet fibers.  I say don't waste your money and put it toward a nice quality lightweight vacuum.

OK, just saw the link.  But my answer remains the same as I have the Bissell version of this sweeper too.  I've tried them all!  It's just not worth it, IMO.

I have one. it gets all the dirt and dust bunnies, but I would get the one with the vacumm. it can pick up stuff like bugs and stuff like that.

yEAH MY mom, aunty, and uncle bought the swivel sweeper it works sooo good ! Yuh can just buy it at yuhr local mall Myrvyn's sels them still i think !

They can carry glass, lint, thumbtacks, pins, paperclips, hair, pet hair ! Works on tile and carpet. And yuh need to charge it only for like 1 or 2 hours and it works long its so LIGHT too ! You can even boss your lil sister,bro,cuzzin to clean cuz its so easy and light and no extension cords your FREE

And aalso   Just after using it take the hair on the brushes under the swivel sweeper so yuh can keep it for a long time and it wnt git tangeled !
