How well do you know about ships? PLEASE HELP!!!?

i'm working on a project for my school. it's about ships and it's so stupid. i can't find it on the internet.

okay, i need to know the average speed for a ship to travel, the amount of people it can carry, how and what is it built of.

i need to klnow what kind of ship they are all sizes. i was on a ship in the navy .our shjiop had 360 crew and could carry 1200 troops.

Big ships go slow but some can make 20+ knots - carry lots of people  like thousands- steel hull

small ships go faster  but some can only make 10 -12 knots- carry lots of people - like hundreds - steel hull

big boats maybe even a little faster or a little slower 6 - 15 knots - carry good groups - 150 - 350 people - fiberglass and steel

smaller boats the fastest  or slower still 6 knots to 30 knots- carry less than 150 - still steel or fiberglass hulls.
