  1. Obviously not very well - but we shouldn't be trying to manage Earth's resources, we should be trying to manage our use of those resources. We need to stop thinking of Earth as something to be managed or controlled because that leads to a feeling of separation, like we are something foreign to the Earth. We're not. we're not only part of it, but a product of it, and if we attempted to adapt ourselves to the environment and resources instead of adapting the environment to suit ourselves, we would be better off.

It's ironic that back when resources were seemingly infinite we built quality - things were made to last. Yet now as resources are scarce we build things to be thrown away.

  2. many people have different opinions. In my

opinion, the earths natural resources have not been managed so well. There are so many other things that could be done to manage the earths natural resources.

  3. After the industrial age,  pretty bad,  now we are just running amok trying to improve that.

  4. I would say pretty well. Look at our civilization as oppossed to 150 years ago. Our population has increased exponentially, we have huge cities, flight, drive cars, cross the oceans, go to space, have virtual unending energy sources, clothes to wear, more trees, less land used to produce food. We can travel underwater in subs and cross the globe in hours instead of months. Man has achieved many things with the resources we have. We use sythetic materials instead of natural ones and we do not burn wood to heat our homes. Nothing to complain about much. We are cleaner today, healthier and live longer with a lower infant mortality rate.  I am of course referring to the US, Europe and other developed areas.

  5. For the most part we have been poor managers. Most of the damage is being done in chase of profit. Our oceasn are being over fished and some species are now endangered, such as Cod and Whales and many more. Wh have been dumping huge amounts of waste, both toxic and non-toxic.

Something to think about thoug. Many of our scientists, and environmentalsts are blaming the human race for everything. I am sure they are doing the best they can. If we look at the polar ice caps as an example. Some scientists blame the industrial revolution for the decline in the environmen. I am sure it had some influence. The scientistc also say that things have happened in the past for both global warming. What caused those to happen and reverse. Is the same thing happening now? Is it possible that the global warming we are see now is also part of a cyclic change?pp

  6. Not very well at all.

  7. a lot of human didn't managed the earth natural resources..
