How well do you think the Montreal Canadiens will do this season 2008/09)?

Everyone knows they have the young phenom goalie Carey Price...maybe being knocked out by Philly (last year playoffs)is a learning expierience? Will Alex Tangauy make a difference? Tell me what you think....GO HABS GO!

tanguay isnt the hardest worker, but he brings speed and skill which is how the canadiens play.  so he will make a contribution in the regular season, wouldnt surprise me if his wheels fall off in the playoffs

I'm betting they'll not only take the conference, but be matched against the Wings in the Stanley Cup Finals. What a ratings boost!

Bob Gainey is one scary dude. I watched him excel as a player, build the winner in Dallas, and then get to work with his own team. Now that he's got the youth set, he's getting the right veterans. It doesn't hurt his old team mate Guy Carbonneau is his coach. They both played the same style.

Price may fool a lot of people this year. Or, Gainey has someone in the minors about the make the next step.

Well..., Tangauy is a good player and all, but in my opinion he won't make much of a difference. I say that they'll make it to the play-offs again but I won't be accurate until I see them play again.

Hi,   There's just something that get's into a "local" boy, be it from day one, or a returning vet when he "pulls on the sweater that he grew up to know as a kid (Alex Tanguay, George Laraque) that inspires him..

With the hotbed of talent and those on the horizon "down on the farm", Canadiens will do very well. Hated to see Mark Streit leave, but such is life...

Today they still need help to get over the hump. If they get it, they'll go further than last year. If not, then not.

They'll do pretty well... maybe they won,t win the conference but definitely will make it to the playoffs! and even go pretty far in the playoffs!
