How well does a Macro deck do?

If the deck is is "kinda" good (get like 7-9/10), in a local tournament?

it can be decent in locals, if built correctly.

Macro decks have often proved competitive in tournaments, but there main fault is that the banned list, and even more so the limited list, have targeted key cards for the deck so that they are a little more 'down to earth'. Although they still prove to be decent decks I think you have a higher chance of winning running 6 Samurai or Gadgets these days. I personally run a Warrior Toolbox deck with various effective warrior including a bit of E-Heroes.
