How well does having a CCNA translate to radio communications of the future?

I am in the radio field and know that with recent federal rulings, their is a push for digital radio systems. Systems that will be P25 capable and also function with Radio over IP (RoIP). My question is, would obtaining my CCNA be worthwhile, or are their other IP certifications that are more RoIP orientated? Thanks.

  1. I know that Cisco are big in VoIP at the moment, and that seems to be the way things are going.

Whether that directly translates to RoIP, I don't know for sure, but any Cisco qualification would be a good thing to have.
