  1. DO NOT PUT A RABBIT WITH A GUINEA PIG! no matter how much people say its ok no matter how many pet shops do it its cruel to both of them.

    -Guinea pigs steel rabbit food

    -Rabbits sit on guinea pig-

Some rabbit foods are POISONous for guinea pigs

    -Guinea pigs bite the rabbits

If you care about your guinea pig then you should leave it on its own and give it lots of cuddles rather then put it with a rabbit (its not as good as being with another guinea pig) but at least its not in danger.

  2. do not EVER keep a guinea pig with a rabbit, they are completely different animals that need completely different living conditions and they will NOT get along. If you can't afford to properly take care of your guinea pig by putting him in the needed housing and getting him a companion or several, give him to someone that can. PETS COST MONEY. If you don't have that money you shouldn't have pets.

  3. Do not even think about putting a guinea pig with a rabbit, it is always said how common guinea pigs are from rabbits they are not because they may both be of the rodent family but they are nothing alike, you never know what a rabbit might do to the piggy or what the piggy might do to the rabbit.  As far as the pig getting bored with you, it won't happen as long as you give him at least half an hour of love, he should be absolutely happy with you.  Even though some people say guinea pigs are very social, it's okay to let him relax in his cage.

  4. well it's hard to say. They may like each other and then they may hate each other which will result in the female killing the male.

Put them together and watch how they interact and if either look to be in danger or of being hostile to the other remove them from each other.

If you're worried of the guinea pig getting bored give him some play toys like tunnels and a ball.

  5. While some buns and piggies can get along for a short period of time, it generally ends up a tragic mismatch. For this reason, piggies & buns should NOT be playmates or cagemates. One, usually the pig, will end up injured or dead.

Secondly, these animals have different dietary needs.

Lastly, some rabbits carry Bordetella, which can be transmitted to the piggie, causing upper respiratory infection, pneumonia, and/or death.

Do your piggie a favor and do not expose him to the bun. See if you can do some extra chores or small jobs to earn the money for a proper, same s*x buddy for your piggie. They really need to be housed in pairs to be happy & healthy.
