  1. www.myspace.com/boycottinbev

    just started the new group

down with budweiser,  down with bass,  down with c**p beer!!

    viva la beer revolution!

  2. Drink a couple of Aussie beers, pee in a glass, and then call it American Beer.

  3. it has always has sold quite good here in London for as long i can remember from that advert whats up?that ad made it more popular.

  4. ick! Budwieser, as far as lagers go the quality of this one is not the best -  to put it mildly.

Belgian brewer InBev has announced it will buy it, but i don't see it becoming popular in Belgium. - In Belgium Beer is the most varied, numerous and high-quality in the world.

maybe it can compete with other mediocre beer in it's quality category but it will score zero points with beer conneisseurs.

maybe it will sell well somewhere where they don't produce quality beer or where people don't know any better.

  5. Not to well in Aust as our beer is stronger in the first place.

You can get Bud here and I've tried it but it is watery compared to ours.

  6. The original Budweiser beer - from the Czech town that was called by its German name, Budweis, when it was part of Austria-Hungary - sells well and always will because it's very good.

  7. The only people who drink Bud in Europe are tourists from America.  InBev didn't buy them to expand their European market share, they bought them to cash in on our inability to drink quality beer.

So many countries have beers signature to their region.  There is variety within those areas, but there often seems to be a grain of similarity.  Bud is off when it comes to beers in Europe.  It's best bet is probably England, but most Brittish beer is stronger. . . I don't know of a beer that is as weak as bud that I have had in other countries. . .

  8. From what I understand, it has always sold well overseas. I think it is the United States' biggest export for beer. I don't think the sale to a European company is going to hurt its sales over there.
