How were people affected by the China Earthquake? In Sichuan?

I am doinng a powerpoint presantation about the China Earthquake, that happend on Monday, May 12th in Sichuan, China. I need ways of how it affected people in China. other then the fact that it killled thousands. please hellppp!

buildings have fallen down on people and trapped them.

because the magnitude was so high, peoples's homes were destroyed and sometimes collasped some other people. they have lost shelter and have a very small food and water supply.

Many people lost their children in the earthquake. It broke many parent's hearts because those were there only children considering the law in China were you can only have 1 child. Also, many valuable buildings were destroyed too.
