I am taking a AP US History class next fall and I am looking to get a head start on one of the lessons. Unfortunately, I'm not sure where to start so hopefully I'll be able to get some help. Anyway, certain events would be quite helpful and please don't include slavery. My gratitude in advance.

  1. America has been a place of immigrants and refuge. It is made of many religions cause more religions to mix. Christianity is a main influence in politics even though it was said that America would run under no religious influences. Also many cultures have mixed into the society such as Irish, French, and other European countries. America took some of the ideas from these people such as the Magna Carta, The Constitution, Declaration of Independence, slavery, and some war tactics, but they kind of added their own flare.

I know that these traits will always be part of our culture so i wouldnt say that we imitate americans. We revised some of them and it part of globalization so we have to take it into our system. Im proud that most filipinos are flexible to adapt every nations culture. Cheers
