I am really wondering how the pyramids in Egypt were made and how long did it take to make them? Also did the king's sit there and watch them build it?

They are still trying to figure out how such a massive engineering construction project was taken up with very basic of tools and engineering knowledge of the ancient Egyptian civilization.
