How were women treated in the 1800's?

  1. they were not allowed to countinue school after grammer school .they had to   work 6 to 12 hours a day.


  2. In the late 1800's, women were looked down upon. Many of the women were treated badly and were forced to work for long periods of time( ex: 12-16 hours a day). The women eventually started to rebel against the things and rose up. They started to create conventions which eventually led them to get laws passed so women could vote.Many women began to go to the Universities which had been looked down upon in the earlier years; basically, women came back up to kick butt :)
