  1. as wet as she wants she will move away when she done

  2. Soaked to the skin! Birds LOVE baths! Obviously you don't want to drown the bird and if the bird is scared to death, take it easy on it!

    I've always been told by my breeder friends to get my parrots soaking wet! :) I actually take my parrots into the shower with me and they LOVE it!!

  3. Well, it depends on the age.  Adult cockatiels excrete an oil from a gland on the back of them.  If they are in good healthy feather the water should bead off of them and it will not appear as if the bird is wet.  However, on babies they have yet learned how to fully oil their feathers and will become soaked.  So to answer you question soak the baby bird and then dry it with a towel.  Most cockatiels love spray baths.  So, if you have one that loves to be bathed then continue spraying until he/she stops enjoying it.

  4. It completely depends. Sometimes my birds are entirely soaked and other times they only want a little.

    You should go by what your bird wants otherwise a bath doesn't do them any good. Here is more info on bathing so you can see through pics and videos;
