  1. Favourite album is Kid A. It's creepy had I absolutely adore the opener. I discovered Radiohead on the radio. I got into them after seeing the music video for Just, I was blown away. The first album I listened to was The Bends. I've heard every album and love them all including Pablo Honey. I really dig Thom's music. It almost feels like i'm listening to Radiohead but nothing could ever replace them all jamming together in my opinion.

  2. Like most people I first heard of them through creep. Then I was invited by a friend to see them live. That was october 04. The gig totally blew me away even though there were only about 100 people there. After that I was hooked. Still see the Bends as there best work.

  3. I liked Creep and I heard Pablo Honey once in passing, but I wasn't into it enough to buy the record (I like that record, but it's my least favorite). Then a several years later I had a couple friends who kept talking about OK Computer (which had been out for a few months) and inevetably they played it a bunch when I was around. At first I liked Airbag and Paranoid Andriod and Exit Music and Karma Police, but it took listening to it on my own and really soaking it in to become a fan of it. Glad I did, they're pretty amazing.

Favorite record fluctuates a lot, I guess my stock answer is OK Computer, but it depends on the day. It's actually kind of an Airbag EP kind of a day. Each album just brings a different set of qualities to the table. I like OK Computer because it's the top of the arc of them walking the line between the two mentalities of the Bends guitar rock mindset and what would lead them to put out Kid A. There hadn't been a record like it that I'm aware of. Psychadelic for a new age and yet still very relatable. It changed rock music. That is why it's my stock answer to that question. If I had to answer what was "their best" record it would be OK Computer.

Wasn't a huge fan of Eraser, but maybe I didn't give it a fair shot. I did like Johnny Greenwood's Body Song cd quite a bit. Theres a particular mood for it, but when I'm in it it's a great cd.

    *********

Somehow I missed a couple questions without realizing it.

The first thing I had of theirs was a sort of compilation of mostly OK Computer and the Bends stuff, with a couple tracks from the My Iron Lung e.p. and Talk Show Host that my friend made me as a sort of introduction cd. It didn't take me long to buy both the Bends and OK Computer. I think OK Computer came first.

I've heard all of the records, and I think I've heard all of the tracks at least at some point. The only e.p.s that I've sat down and listened to though are the Iron Lung and the Airbag ones, but I've come across a lot of other tacks through friends and what have you. Truth be told, the only eps I've seen in stores have been the two I mentioned. While we're on the subject, I will say that the live album was surprisingly good. I generally don't like live records, but I like their's. Those versions of Morning Bell and Idioteque were just awesome. I think my favorite non album track would be talk show host, but I also like Cuttooth, Polyethelyne, Permanent Daylight, Lewis Mistreated. I think Airbag is my favorite ep.

  4. My favorite used to be Ok Computer for a long time until recently I started listening to The Bends a lot and decided that was my favorite. I like every song from that album and most of my favorite Radiohead songs are on that one.

I discovered them on this site. People constantly talking about them so I wanted to see what the whole big deal was.

    First album was Ok Computer.

I have listened to all of their albums. My favorite EP is My Iron Lung.

Thom's stuff is pretty good. However I prefer Johnny's solo work which is amazing.

  5. Kid A, just for the sheer atmosphere of it

About a year and a half ago

    OK Computer

Yep; All of em, my favorite is Airbag/How Am I Driving?

Good, but the band together is great.

  6. my two favorite albums are ok computer and in rainbows

I discovered them many many years ago

I don't remember the first album I listened to

I like Thom Yorkes solo music, but I like Radiohead better.

I just saw them at Outside Lands Festival in Golden Gate Park in SF, it was the best show I've ever been to :D

  7. OK Computer is my favorite.  It helps me relax.

    Couple of years ago.

    Pablo Honey

I have all the albums.  OK computer is by far the best.

I haven't hear thom's solo stuff but i imagine it will be just as good or better than radiohead.
