How when you're in 8th grade you get to Washington DC?

is it like a Graduation Trip or something cause i'm so excited i get to go this year and i'm just wondering so.

My graduation trip was to Disneyland here in Southern California, but in DC I dunno. New York maybe?

I get to go to Washington to. it's gonna be mad fun. ordering room service in the rooms. hanging out.

No, I wish I went though. I went to D.C. while visiting friends in Virginia and it was great. I have American Government this year so maybe they'll plan a trip to D.C.

i know at the school i went to a long time ago they went skiing for the middle school kids and the 8th graders got to have an extra log trip so...

Enjoy every moment of it and take pictures.  All the history stuff you sat and listened to you will actually be able to see for yourself and touch which is a big difference from sitting in a classroom.  You will be able to walk through the White House and be searched by the Secret Service.  You will be able to sit in the seat of Ford's theater where Abraham Lincoln was shot and visit the tomb of the unknown soldier along with other famous dead at Arlington Cemetery.  You will get to see a piece of the Berlin Wall and walk along the field of Gettysburg where 100's of people died.  You will get to go to the U.S. Mint where they make the dollars you spend and you'll get to go to Thomas Jefferson's house to see his inventions and if your lucky you'll get to go to Jamestown where everyone is dressed back in the old days and talk the way they talked back then.  It's pretty cool.  Have fun but don't do anything stupid as there is security everywhere.
