How where the states named?

Question

I know most of them were named after Native American words/tribes but is there like a website that says how each were named?

Or is there anyone kind enough to post them all/the ones they know? xD

If they weren't named after Native American Tribes/words then they were named after European People that had to do with the colonization of the state/area.
