The great depression in 1929 changed Americas economic system greatly. What do you think will happen IF, thats if, we have another depression? Do you think Capitalism will survive? A more socialist model maybe take its place?

  1. We won't have food, and we'd probably have less electronics and have more farming and larger families

  2. Ummm some say we are already in a depression as great as the one in '29. As a result you see the price of everything on the rise like gas, food, living expenses. It seems like we are losing our capitalistic ideals and falling to a more socialistic model for society anyway

  3. The government is flat broke, and there's no "if" about another depression, only "when".  It's basically because the dollar is collapsing, but there are underlying reasons, including the Fed's manipulation of the money supply.

The "when" may occur when the Fed can no longer drop the discount rate and must close the open window to bankers.  Bankers going broke will trigger a domino effect, kicking  the recession into deep depression much worse that 1929.

Or it may occur on 9 September when OPEC meets again, if it decides to dump the dollar.  With the ongoing inflation, who could blame them?

The dollar collapse is the result of spending for socialism and war which has resulted in national debt far beyond management.  The DepReps who brought this on, and the media which is reporting nothing but election trivia, don't want to address it -- the ostrich with it's head in the sand.  The voters, having been brainwashed for 2 generations, can't grasp this simplicity.

So we are stuck with this  hare-brained immorality which insists and enforces that we are our brother's keeper and must ignore individual freedom and incentive for "the greater good".

So the socialist/communist/"progressive" mentality will probably take over the rest of this tattered world.  It could be a long Dark Age, but someday some individuals will again demand a level of respect and refuse to support insanity.

  4. During the last depression the population was around 100 million . Today the population is above 300 million . The shear numbers dictate more suffering then before . It could cause a civil or revolution war . Be prepared for all things possible .
