How will http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 approach the second leg of the Super Copa? (Part 1)
The Catalan Giants managed to draw the first leg of the Super Copa against the bitter rivals Real Madrid. This is the third consecutive time that Barcelona are playing the Super Copa – a competition which takes place between the side which wins the Spanish La Liga and the Copa Del Rey.
This is the first time in fourteen years that Barcelona are facing Real Madrid in the final of the Super Copa. The Catalans have faced Real Madrid three times in this competition before but they have failed to win against Los Blancos every time they have faced them.
The first leg of the Super Copa took place in Real Madrid’s home stadium – Santiago Bernabeu. Los Blancos were the favourites to win the match and as the game kicked off, they looked to be the ones hungry for goals.
Barcelona, on the other hand, tried to move the ball around but they failed to do so. Real Madrid were pressurizing their defence line a lot and they did not allow them to move the ball even in their own half. Moreover, with the absence of a few major players, Barcelona did not look to be the same.
With the first leg kicking off, Jose Mourinho fielded his favourite eleven while Josep Guardiola had less choice and he had to play a few second choice players. The Spanish Champions suffered a lot because of this as there was at least one first team player missing from each of the three departments – defence, midfield and attack.
Real Madrid tried to take advantage of their home ground and Jose Mourinho fielded the same team which lost 5-0 to Barcelona at the Nou Camp last season.

The centre back partnership of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ricardo-Carvalho-c30973 was not broken. Last season Jose Mourinho tried to approach Barcelona by playing Pepe in the midfield and he was quite successful but this time the Portuguese tactician played Pepe and Carvalho in the centre back position.

Mourinho fielded a 4-2-3-1 formation and it was Mesut Ozil who played in his favourite attacking midfield role. The German star was instrumental throughout the game and he was aided by Angel Di Maria on the right wing and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristiano-Ronaldo-c9629 on the left wing.
