How will Essendon Bombers go against Sydney on Sunday 18/5/08?

Hey i just had a peek at the Essendon website (http://www.essendonfc.com.au) and although the line ups arn't in untill Thursday i recognised that some of Essendons key players are coming back. So will they perform against Sydney??? or will they get thrashed again????

Essendon are lucky Melbourne are in the AFL, because otherwise they would definitely be at short odds for the wooden spoon. In a few more years when Lloyd and Lucas are gone, they'll be even more messed up.

Been a long time between drinks since bombers did over swans at sydney...

I really do like like the Bombers, but cant possibly see a win this week..

Especially as I'm a tad bias towards Swans.. hee

The Bombers aren't hard enough at the ball, Sydney are. Kirk, J. Bolton, Ablett, Goodes, everyone else. Essendon prance around waiting for it to spill out or get a free kick.

Even with the key players coming back, they havent had enough recent match experience to be in the swing of things. If you were every gonna back against the Bombers, now is the time :(

Up at sydney, i think there's your answer right there, no one will pick the bombers surely.

Down here, i'd seriously consider it, but not up there. I will check the sides on thursday, which will only be a squad but we'll get some idea who is back for the bombers, but i think the inclusions would have to be Hird,Coleman,Davis,Maddern,T.Watson,Vand...  You get my meaning, i think. cheers, stick by them..
