Arrested?  Well I suppose if their protests (along with those of g*y men, straight men and straight women) are not peaceful then yes they will be arrested in both Republican and Democratic states.

anyway, with the budget deficits, pro amnesty, pro global police war mongering, pro UN, pro free trade, pro high taxes policies of Bush and McCain, I don't see how the GOP could get any more liberal than it already is.  The GOP would probably accept g**s with open arms if they could get a few votes, and pander to them the way Democrats pander to racial minorities.

I think the Republican Party is making a huge mistake in excluding g*y people. They don't realize that many g**s are quite conservative and don't want to identify themselves as being Democrats. Excluding them is cutting off a major potential source for voters.

Since the majority of Republicans come from right wing Christians. I really doubt that the g*y community could have much weight on it.

Change takes time, and I think most of the lesbians are democrats, not republicans.
