How will I ever know if I was sexually abused or not?

I feel like I know that I have been, but I cant actually remember it happening. will i ever know?

Get into therapy. Possibly hypnosis. Caution: You may not want to bring those memories out, though.

One way is to find a good radiesthesist ( use of the pendulum ), it's a safe way to discover lost memories and won't affect your psyche and less expensive than a therapy. Hypnosis can be useful too. What makes you think that you were sexually abused? How old are you anyways? Do you find yourself unable to have intercourse? Sexual abuse is not always with penetration, so you might still be a virgin with abuse. My two suggestions are the safest ways to find out.

If you can't remember it happening you will never know for sure. If you feel that it did happen it more that likely did happen but you can never be sure. Just do your best to forget and move on with your life. Good Luck.

Maybe you need to put it behind you.You have a whole future in front of you. I agree with the poster who said you may not want to bring those old memories out. . Get on with your life. I've heard that your brain, has a way of shutting out bad things. You cannot move forward until you give finality to something that has a negative hold on you. Put it in your Creator's hands, and let it go.

Hypnosis can sometimes work.

Or when you start to have sexual intercourse and there is something stopping you each time...chances are its that.

Your mind tries to block out horrible memories to protect you, but sometimes you have to find out the truth.

Why do you feel like you have been?  Do you have dreams about it, do you have memories of it, what?  It's really either you do, or you do not, we don't need to make too big of a case on it.  Describe more in detail why you think you may have been.  What you describe as being "maybe" may well be that you "have been" and so we need more detail.  Hypnosis doesn't work on everyone and it's an exact science.

If you were abused you would remember. You may not remember what actually took place, but that it happened would not be in dough. I take this from first hand.
