How will I get rid of the pop-up "Don't Send" when closing my internet explorer?

Hello,

I am having problems with closing my internet explorer. Whenever I close it, a pop-up will appear saying "Send error Report" and "Don't Send." I keep on clicking the Don't Send button. The thing is whenever I do multiple researching, I need to open 4 or 5 internet explorer’s and when I am done with one of them, I habitually close it and then the pop-up will appear. Whenever I click the Don't Send, all my internet explorer’s will close even if I am in the middle of my research.

The only thing I did before this event happened was to download Avast! Virus Scanner. After doing that, the computer started to reboot and some files were found to be infected by trojans and viruses and were automatically deleted...

I don't know if they are related. Kindly help me with this problem. I would really appreciate any suggestion on what I will do. Thanks!

  1. press keyboard shortcut: WINDOWS+PAUSE

    then goto ADVANCED tab.

    then click ERROR REPORTING

select DISABLE ERROR REPORTING, and UNCHECK the

"But notify me when critical error occurs"..

close the dialogs with OK / APPLY..

    done ^_^

additionally, download djlizard's dial a fix, and run it, it fixes some windows errors and crashes ^_^

  2. You have to disable Error Reporting, Remember your computer is a machine and only does what you tell it to do.Forget 'Terminator' and other such drivel, you only get out what you put in.

Quick tip; If you are using XP and have service pack 3, uninstall it and stop your computer getting any more updates. They don't benefit you at all.

  3. This happens to me sometimes. It is not a pop-up though. It happens when the internet "encounters a problem and needs to stop." It doesn't have anything to do with viruses or Trojans. It's from Microsoft. If you are in the middle of something, you could just drag the window off the screen and continue using the internet. When you are done, you can click Don't Send.
