  1. The military has a very good absentee voting program.  They will let you know who your voting officer is there.

  2. There are voting assistance officers on every military base.  Ask your unit representative.

  3. If you are out of your normal voting district you will need to get an absentee ballot and vote by mail.  You can get that at your local state and county government website.  Simply go to google or yahoo and search your state name and absentee ballot; example search for "Florida absentee ballot"

  4. Contact your local elections board - you can do this online googling 'general election absentee ballot' and your state name.

Fill out the application to be sent an absentee voter ballot, and they will send it to you at your temporary address. (I have 2 daughters away at school who will vote this way.

Good luck in school! And vote Obama!

  5. you can do an absentee ballot...ask your recruiter...but make sure you vote!

  6. Absentee Ballot

  7. You can vote by absentee ballot.  Instead of going through Internet searches, however, each military unit has a voting assistance officer who can help you register for an absentee ballot.  I voted absentee in 1988 and 1992, each time from a different command and with the help of the voting assistance officer.
