Im a lifelong Braves fan and obviously have been a Maddux fan for years. Anytime he pitches in Philly, I like to go and the Dodgers are in Philly the 22nd-25th. I think from my guesses the Dodgers have a 4 man rotation...will he be a 5th starter or take over for the 4th starter? He last pitched on Friday, so I am trying to fiure out when he will be pitching in PA this weekend. Thanks Dodger fans!

  1. It's not necessarily the value of Maddux's pitching anymore, seeing that he is 42, but the experience and knowledge of Mad-dog will help Kershaw develope just like it did Billingsley.  Also, he should hop in at the 4 or 5 spot for Brad Penny.  Go Dodgers!

  2. Not better than last year!!!

  3. that is going to be an interesting place to play now too considering he has to go against his former team now as well... i like the move for the dodgers though because they are trying to make it to the world series this year and i dont think anyone is going ot stop them at this rate

  4. Penny is on the DL. The Dodgers plan on playing him in his spot, which comes up Saturday in Philadelphia.

  5. well you gotta figure with penny on the dl maddux isnt gonna hurt the rotation at all.he still does have about 5 maybe 6 good innings in him its up to the dodger bullpen to stay strong chan ho parks gotta pick it up.but i think its a great trade maddux pitched fairly well when he was here in la
