I believe Senator McCain would be an excellent president because of his position on key issues.  He is willing to reduce our dependence on foreign oil by committing our country to expanding domestic oil exploration. Senator John McCain believes that because we have an abundance of oil reserves here in the U.S., we will be able to keep our money we owe to other countries in our borders.  By doing this, we will increase our domestic supplies and reduce our trade deficit. Another way Senator John McCain can reduce our dependence on foreign oil is to seek alternative energy sources. By 2030, Senator John McCain’s seeks to do away with our dependence of foreign oil altogether by activating forty-five nuclear power plants in the U.S.

If elected president, Senator John McCain will cut taxes in order to expand the  economy. John McCain’s strategy to improve the U.S. economy is to cut taxes but reduce spending.  This will result in investment and job creations, which will increase our economy.  What also is a very vital issue to McCain is cutting the corporate tax rate to twenty-five percent, for the reason that it will be essential to keeping beneficial jobs in the United States. Also, if elected president, Senator John McCain will fight to pass laws,  which will put his new “Home Plan” proposal into action.  This plan is to give 350,000 families the opportunity to keep their homes.
