Question:

How will McCain deal with Asian nations?

I know this might be unfair but I'm curious. If you were kept in a cage for years and tortured by Asian people (as McCain was during Vietnam) could you ever deal with them peacefully and respectfully?

I don't mean this as a shot at McCain, but I'd like to know what people think.

  1. Way to stereotype and lump all Asians together!  Kind of like saying all whites are like the n**i's

  2. Well, considering McCain supported normalizing relations with Vietnam, and has visited there and said he harbored no grudges, I'd say that he can deal with them respectfully and peacefully.

  3. I'm American and I'm living in Hanoi.

They treat me very nicely here.

There have been recent interviews with the guy who was the head of the Hanoi Hilton (Hoa Lo) when McCain was there.  He said he liked McCain very much and that if he was American, he would vote for him.

All this happened a long time ago.  People forgive.  People forget.

Always remember, the Vietnamese's take on John McCain and the other American Pilots that bombed Hanoi on their "Christmas Eve" (the Tet Offensive) was that these people were:

"Not soldiers on the Field of Battle, but cowardly War Criminals using weapons of mass destruction (B-52's and bombs) to inflict damage on non-military targets (the city of Hanoi--mostly populated with women and children)--and then flying away, posing no danger to themselves."

Therefore, just like the evil driver of Osama Bin Laden, McCain got what he deserved.  He has even said himself that torture is just fine for "war criminals" like Osama's limo driver.

Oh, that's right, the limo driver DIDN'T DROP BOMBS ON BABIES ON CHRISTMAS EVE!  ONLY MCCAIN DID.

    McCain is a douche.

  4. I think you've got a pretty strong point here.  I don't think he could bypass racism on top of being unable to relate to the struggling middle class and the poor people.
