Question:

How will Odom respond to be on the trading block?

Most people agree that the Lakers soft interior defense played a large role in their loss to the Celtics in the finals. Odom and Gasol have beent the main targets of these accusations. Many of the trade rumors this summer have involved Odom, with the Lakers trying to unload his enormous salary. Artest and Marion were a couple of the guys mentioned.

Do you think this will effect Odom's play this year, or team chemistry Or do you think Odom is a professional, and will be able to block out of his mind the fact he isn't really wanted in LA?

Do you think there is still a chance Odom could still get traded?

  2. yes

  3. I don't think Odom is getting traded. If you want to about all the rumors for any sport go to www.fannation.com. this site tells you about all trade rumors, and everything about nba, nfl, etc. Hope this helps.

  4. Odom will end up being traded in the middle of the season.  He is human and of course this will affect him.  Odom also can't change who he is.  He's been in the league long enough to the point that this is him.

  5. ya

  6. I think that any player would feel and play different if there team are more than willing to trade him and no other team is even considering to have him on there team. No matter how you put it, Odom or any player, would have nights where he would be really aggressive and won't past the ball and other nights where he just doesn't feel like playing. Lakers have Kobe pushing the trade for Odom and I think that Odom and Kobe would get into some serious issues, plus others players don't really get along worth Kobe b/c he acts he owns the team. Odom could get a change of scenery next season but the Lakers want a too much out of the trade. Odom could go to NY, NJ, PHI, but the Lakers want someone like KG, Marion, Artest for him. Odom should ask for a trade b/c it seems like his teammates don't support him, all you hear is trading Odom. The Lakers need to trade the crappy *** bench player and there starting SF. Lakers have too many crappy players, they need to get rid of them.

  7. Odom will get traded near the trading deadline.

  8. would i have liked marion or artest over odom?...yes but thats not gonna happen, thats life.

bottom line is hes gonna be the lakers starting 3 next year which is good because he can rebound but cant shoot well enough to be out on the wing.

the more his role on the lakers becomes less important the better he plays. he played horrible as the 2 option, pretty good as the 3 option. with bynum now as the 3 option he goes down to the 4th so he can focus on rebounding and defense.

  9. Not this year 4 getting traded

  10. Its not like this is anything new, his name has been in trade rumors every year since he has been in LA, as well as Miami and when he was the Clippers.

  11. it only makes sense to trad him because the lakers are not going to pay his big salary in a new contract.  they should be able to find a player to fit the bill and trade him to a team taht wants to free up cap space a la kwame brown. odom is a big softy so it definately will effect his play but he's always gonna get boards and play d and thats all the lakes need him for

  12. Lamar will respond the way he always has... poorly.
