I want to predict playoffs but there are so many holes to fill i cant yet. I would settle for 40 wins. Please make a prediction and tell me how you think he will do.

  1. A coach is only as good as the players he has to work with and the Leafs will miss the playoffs again.

  2. He's an alright coach - just doesn't have the players to hit 40 wins.

IMO the Leafs never should've let Pat Quinn go.

  3. he brought my caps to the stanley cup finals

  4. I think he'll lead them further than Paul Maurice did, but I don't think they'll make the playoffs.

  5. As a Sabres fan I have to say that Wilson will fail miserably.  40 wins is a long way off, like not in your lifetime.  As a Hockey fan I think this year will be better but no playoff 's yet.  Wilson will turn the Leafs back into a contender keep the faith.

  6. I think you'll be better off pretending Wilson doesn't start for another year or two if you expect 40 wins. We'll be challenging for the Tavares sweepstakes rather than the cup this year. But the future looks brighter. (maybe that's just because JFJs not blocking my sun, I dunno)

  7. Any coach in Toronto will have trouble until the Board Members quit meddling in the day-to-day operations of the club.  Until Peddie is told to stay away, the team will struggle.  I am confident if Burke comes abord as GM, one condition will be no Peddie in the decision making process.

  8. he's a great coach, but he doesn't have the players for anywhere close to 40 wins.

  9. Ron Wilson is a good coach, i enjoyed him with the Sharks.

im not sure how he will do up there but he can bring alot to a teams, look what he did with SJ...

at least he will have 1 familiar face in Vesa Toskala.
