dfense is alright, no where near the ability to contain welker and moss though

but gholston looked very good in college

and their linebacker looked pretty good last season

obviously a patriots "fan" but thats the wrong question to ask. they play on the same side of the ball. they will never meet. the jets defense is not that good and i guess your saying with "still need a defense" you realized that a defense is the most important part of a team. thats why the pats won 3 superbowls. no one player did anything special. it was the defense  and a kicker that won everything. so brady might play well against the jets defense but it still wont be up to par with favre. brady, just like everyone else is living in favres shadow. and now its going to be even worse for him. enjoy watching brady play in the shadow of a legend. it will be the only time those words will ever be mentioned in the same sentence.  so the answer to your question is more of, how will brady try to impress favre when they play?

the jets defense is pretty decent. they signed a couple of key parts in the off season, kris jenkins and calvin pace, who will help.

but the jets wide recievers are shaky. Coles and whole lot of nothing else.
