  1. All eyes are on Oden.. His game will make or break the Blazers.

I except Blazers as the eighth or seventh seed in the west.

  2. I live in Portland and was a season ticket holder for 17 seasons.  We have obvious concerns, although I think we have the players to address those concerns. It depends on how quickly they gel. Now with Bayless emerging I'm wondering if there is enough ball to go around, and by Nate turning down a contract extension last week, I'm starting to wonder what he and his coaching staff see as possible issues with the team.  Best case scenario, we are a playoff team. If Oden can become a consistant, service-able Center, or even close to the talent that everyone expects, I think this next year will be very exciting. Worst case scenario, Oden is a bust, Bayless can't distribute the ball, and Brandon Roy is forced to be a playmaker all year long. This scenario means there will be a longer adjustment period, but it also means that come the all-star break when LaFrentz contact can be traded that at least we'll know what to go after. My honest opinion...I've got a great feeling about Bayless, and I think Pritchard has done it again. I think this season will be more about getting these talents to gel. If that happens, I can see 55 wins next year.

  3. I think they will go to the playoffs and see what happens from there

  4. Im a blazers fan

How do you like Bayless he's a complete ball hog he's gonna ruin the team

  5. They will make the playoffs...

    for these reasons:

    1. Nuggets/Warriors got a lot worse and their chances of making the playoffs are slim.

    2. Young talent-Our young stars keep getting better and better.

3.Addition of new players-With Oden (our anchor of defense), Rudy (solid bench player who is a heck of a shooter), and Bayless (flat out scorer) our team just upgraded big time.

    4. Bench Play-Our bench is amazing. We got guys on our bench who could start for other teams.

    5. Chemistry-All our players are good people, and they all get along great.

I expect them to be a 6-8 seed. I think Oden will make a big impact. Don't forget this guy was picked number 1 for a reason.

    GO BLAZERS!
