I don't understand how a drug like clomid which works with ovulation can help a woman whose estradiol is too high.

  1. Clomid is an estradiol suppressant.

  2. Clomid helps more eggs mature  - typically only one does. Estradiol is a hormone and high numbers can mean poor quality eggs. Since you get more eggs with clomid then the  chances of getting a good egg are better.

we tried to get PG for a very long time. The doctor said it probably wouldn't happen. We finally did 3 month of acupuncture and herbs. It really helped to regulate everything and BAM - PG right away. give it some serious thought. we are 8 months along right now with a baby girl.
