How will food stamps effect my credit history?

This may be a silly question, but getting food stamps will effect my credit negatively? Please explain?

  1. Food stamps have no effect on your score. Only debts do.

  3. Allow the food stamps to assist you with freeing money up to pay your bills during a very hard time or until you have a elevated beyond the need for food stamps. ( They are not reported to the credit bureau)

  4. Your credit history is a record of your credit -- whether you pay your debts on time. If you owe money and don't pay it, you will have a negative rating on your credit score.

    Food stamps are not a debt that you owe. They won't affect your credit.
