  1. there will be a decrease in sales

  2. Current owners who had been thinking of adding a new trailer, may change their mind.

Current owners thinking of a replacing an old trailer may keep theirs longer.

New people thinking of getting into the business may change their minds.

You are going to sell a lot less trailers.

  3. Business will slow down.

Sadly, a lot of trucking companies are idling/shutting their doors due to the soaring cost of diesel fuel. For example, Jevic shocked the industry when they closed their doors around mid May of 2008. Imagine what would happen if another trucking company that size closes their doors? (Imagine several closing their doors?)

Good grief, now I am getting depressed here.

It will get better, eventually...but not until market price of oil per barrel falls below $80. And from the looks of it...that may never happen......

    Best of luck to you.....
