  1. as a money grubbing douchebag with no sense of pride in his country and  a complete tool

  2. The first 2 answers are typical stupid liberals that only believe what the media says. George Bush will be viewed in 20 years as a hero. Abe Lincoln was this unpopular when he was president.

  3. What people say now about George W. Bush is what people said about Abraham Lincoln when he was president. People thought he was terrible. However, George W. did not free the slaves and has not ended the war, but he might be favored by a little more people in the distant future.

  4. bumbling fool

  5. Well seeing how the majority of the world hates the man, not very well. Even within his own country many Americans have not like him from the beginning of his presidency. For example, Al Gore probably could have been president if that so called "error" had not have been found. But was there really an error? Not at all. Its almost as though he forced himself into become president to help out what his father had not done before: invade Iraq. However, Bush did help out with the security of the United States. Before anyone could have entered in the country illegally without being noticed. Now that's next to impossible. So there are some upsides to his presidency, however, there are many downsides to his presidency. Its all up to how you look at it.

  6. He'll probably be remembered for starting the War on Terror and the Iraq War. My guess is that he will just be viewed as an average president at best.

  7. As living proof that America is better off if the president has an IQ in three figures.

  8. Nobody will care. Anybody who already still cares is wasting their time.

  9. The answers are much more interesting and telling than the question.

What you see from both sides is not disagreement, but loathing, hatred, barely disguised contempt.  We are in a period of US v. THEM that, unless stopped, will tear the country apart.  It is the reason Congress can get nothing done and we are politically paralized.  We have spiraled into party loyalties that trump logic, reason and the good of the country.  No one wants to cooperate and get things done.  It's just too much fun (and requries less intellect) to hate them because they are not us.

So sad.  So, so sad.  Goodbye Great America.  We will miss you.  But we are doing what no terroist or "evil" enemy could ever accomplish.

  10. Here are some interesting articles about this: http://www.commondreams.org/views06/0129...

But aside from that...I think it depends upon what happens in the future. If our next President comes in and things get worse (either just naturally or because of mistakes), then people might think, "Wow, Bush wasn't THAT bad." If Iraq stabilizes and the numbers of terrorists decrease, people might think "Hm, he wasn't so bad, look at what he did to help the country by helping Iraq."

But if one just looks at his presidency, without comparing him to anyone else, it won't be judged favorably. Not only is he pretty much despised the world over, he is also seen as stupid (not a good thing for a President!), as the one who was in charge when our economy got really bad, as the one who put us in a record deficit...etc.

  11. It's way too early to tell.

Initially, after the North did not triumph immediately in the Civil War, Lincoln was unpopular.  However, he won reelection handily and was extremely popular as it became clear that the war would be won.  Bush will not recover in popularity while in office.  Truman is a better comparison.  He was unpopular while in office, but with hindsight people came to see his Presidency in a better light.

  12. As the worst president in American history.

  13. As a moron

  14. my best educated guess is not very kindly. i predict that 20 years from now when more secrets are revealed about his presidency he will be lucky if he and others in his administration aren't tried fro war crimes.
