How will human civilization look like 500 years from now?

will they learn in school about their savage ancestors (nowaday people) or will humanity be more barbaric than today?

In 500 hundred years...they will look pretty much the same. There has been a recent trend to greater obesity but that could change. It had been noted that some men since the 1980's have become 'feminised'-they have rounder shoulders that men used to have and more fat round the hips & buttocks. I have seen this look quite a lot in young men (and it ain't great) but this again is probably more to do with bad posture from pc/game playing ,too much booze and poor diet,than any evolutionary change!

500 years is really a drop in time anyway--what do you think for instance a man of 4000 years ago would look like? Guess what. EXACTLY like you.

doubtfully human civilization or any other civilization in this universe will still exist. astronomers are looking at new types of stars and contemplating whether the solar radiation or the explosion of these stars going nova too close to earth will cause its demise

I don't believe anyone can tell you how human civilization will look like 500 years from now; but, I am sure if the public school system is still in place, students will be learning what the public education system wants them to learn.

I suspect the temperature will play a large role in whether or not man survives. there will have to be some sort of birthing restraint, as there is not enough room for people to keep....procreating.

With the progress in genetics we are making, they will look anyway they please. I suspect some will want to be blonde & blue eyed & others will want to look African... it will be a matter of having their genes tailored to produce the desired results.  With the strides we are making, the well to do will live 200+ years but the average lifespan will be short due to food supplies & a rising population.
