How will i connect 2 dual coil subs to this amp?

i got a new amp for my car which i am connecting 2 cerwin vega dual coil subs. the amp is 2 channel

i fitted my 2 subs and only one was working!!

how should these be connected together to my amp?

and what should the settings be at on the amp?

  1. Bridge the subs together and then connect them to the channel....bridge as in run one sub to the other and then run a single wire to the amp. if you have anymore questions feel free to message me.


  2. This is exactly how you wire them to a mono or bridged 2 channel amp (assuming they are dual 4ohm coils).

    tuning however is more difficult to explain and takes patience with a good ear or necessary equipment. But if you want a good reference point, make sure your lpf low pass filter is on and set to no higher than 125Hz. And dont crank your gain and bass levels all the way up. Try having your gain 3/4 of the way up and keep your bass level low.
