How will i have DNA test even without taking the both parties at the hospital?

Is it possible to have DNA test even without the both parties? I mean i will only be using the father's hair and the other party. Please help me clear up my mind. Is it really possible?

Yes its possible but no its not gonna happen.  With the DNA tests it has to have both parties at the hospital! Different times of course sometimes the same time. All  you have to do is go to you local DHHR office<< welfare. And they will help u. I take it that you wanting child support and the father isnt willing to submit to the DNA test.  Or that you have to prove it to the father that the baby is his! Either way you have to have permittion and they arent going to take a piece of hair. It could be anyones hair! So go thru the steps, thru the courts or whatever but if your gonna do it do it right!

hair will tell a lot. if you got the right hair. in other words. how can you tell who the hair belongs to. and prove it.

depends on if there is a root to the hair. you would have to pull out the hair. but that is only if they do hair samples. normally they do swabs in the cheecks. call and ask the place you are going to.

i am pretty sure you have to have a court order or permission fro them, i dont  think you can just walk in and say check this for me. i could be wrong though

who is the "other party"?  If it is your child and you have the father's hair then the father's genetic make up ( found while analyzing the hair) will be removed from the child's DNA profile leaving only the other parent's DNA.  You can get a full DNA workup on a mummy that is a 1000 years old without anyone other than the sample present.  If you are trying to see if the hair belongs to your father than you just need you and the man's hair.  Elaborate and I can give you more detail.

They both need to give consent to the testing, so they would both have to be there to do that.  They usually do a buccal swab (inside the mouth).
